Fit & Falls Free Classes

When asked what they consider to be major factors in maintaining a good quality of life as they grow older, people rank living independently and remaining active at the top. But it’s important to get active so that you can stay active.

With age, you will have a natural reduction of bone density and muscle mass, leading to increased risk of falls. There is strong evidence that regular therapeutic exercise reduces pain and improves activity levels in people with osteoarthritis of the knee and chronic lower back pain.

Classes are in a small group setting and are run by our exercise physiologist. Through regular practice of functional exercise you will notice improved muscular strength, endurance, flexibility, balance and proprioception.

Join us to keep fit, have fun and be falls free.
